CROSS-CUTTING THEMES

The following themes have been agreed with the European Commission.  They are in line with the sustainable development priorities of the Regional Economic Strategy (RES) and have been harmonised with those adopted by Yorkshire Forward and the Objective 1 programme in South Yorkshire.

• Creativity, Innovation and Technology
• Employment and Skills
• Environmental Good Practice
• Social Inclusion and Diversity*

These four themes underpin the Objective 2 programme in Yorkshire and The Humber and should be mainstreamed in projects and all activities.
